Ontario's Z-shaped bay
The Bay of Quinte is a long, Z-shaped inlet of Lake Ontario wrapping around the north shore of Prince Edward County, stretching from Trenton in the west through Belleville to the Napanee and Adolphus Reach areas in the east.
Sheltered from the open lake, it offers calmer boating than the big water — and it's the gateway to the Trent-Severn Waterway at Trenton, linking all the way to Georgian Bay.
