The Memramcook River flows through the Memramcook Valley in southeastern New Brunswick, just south of Moncton and Dieppe toward the upper Bay of Fundy. The valley is often called the cradle of Acadie — the heart of Acadian survival and renaissance, home to the historic Collège Saint-Joseph.
Like much of the Fundy headwaters, the river is tidal, with marshland and dykelands shaped by Acadian settlers centuries ago.
