The Kennebecasis River is a major tributary of the Saint John River in southern New Brunswick, flowing past Rothesay and Quispamsis before bending near Westfield into broad Grand Bay. It's effectively a fjord — deep in places, up to about 70 metres, behind a glacial sill at its mouth.
This is the Saint John region's prime waterfront corridor, lined with established communities and yacht clubs.
